As a family-owned company with over 40 years of experience, Keith Porter Insulation is proud to provide fiberglass, spray foam, cellulose and Spider insulation installation services to residential and commercial projects throughout northeast Georgia. Additionally, we have experts on staff who are trained by the Building Performance Institute and RESNET certified to offer thorough home energy audits. Through these evaluations, we can determine any potential energy loss issues and make a plan to correct them, allowing for more energy-efficient, comfortable spaces.

Along with our insulation services, Keith Porter offers a variety of options for your fireplace, grill and stove needs. This includes gas and wood fireplaces, copper chimney pots, gas grills, gas and wood stoves, gas logs, mantles and more. Our showroom features many of our offerings, and we can work with you to find the right product for your space.

Our History

After branching off from his father’s company, Porter Insulation Products, Keith Porter entered the insulation business with the opening of Keith Porter Insulation and Fireplace in Jefferson, Georgia, in 1976. In 1988, a second location, Oconee Porter Insulation and Fireplace, was added nearby. Since then, the Porter family companies have multiplied, with the addition of Choice Insulation and Keith Porter Specialties, which offer endless options for closet shelving, doors, shower doors, vanity mirrors and other bath hardware needs.

Our Locations

We service all of northeast Georgia, with hubs in Jefferson, Athens and Gainesville. We aim to be accommodating, traveling to jobsites in surrounding areas like Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. Contact us to discuss your project needs and specifications.
